Defendant’s insurer, State Farm, fails in attempt to bring ‘urgent’ application to stay the sheriff’s sale. 2018: Ontario Court of Appeal panel accepts Mr. Payne’s arguments and sides with firm client in fee dispute with Fasken’s.
